Creative Minds at Work

Applied Learning or Fine Arts strives to provide students with opportunities in engaging activities that will generate interest, spark passion, increase application of skills and knowledge, and facilitate communities that cultivate productive, civically-minded members of society.  Applied Learning for elementary students focuses on six areas: Civic Engagement, Music & Performing Arts, Physical Education, STEM & Computer Science, and Visual Arts.

Science

The Science Special complements curriculum taught in the general classroom adhering to state science standards set forth by the Florida Department of Education for each grade level. Students analyze and interpret events and data by making a claim and using evidence to support the claim.
